Background

About Us

CAED is the acronym for Centre for Academic Excellence and Development. It is a centre under the Office of the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Academic and International), Universiti Malaysia Kelantan (UMK). The function of CAED is to manage all teaching and learning innovation, academic leadership, academic curriculum development and assessment and evaluation.

CAED under the lead of Prof. Madya Dr. Mohamad Najmi Bin Masri, structured into four (4) main units, which are:

  • Teaching and Learning Innovation Unit
  • Academic Leadership Unit
  • Academic Curriculum Development Unit 
  • Assessment And Evaluation Unit

  • To empower competents human capital for university academic leadership.
  • To develope a more systematic academic curriculum development process.
  • To monitor academic accessment and evaluation to produce sustainable achivement and outputs.
